I wasn't sure if it would be quality.

I'm not sure if it's a quality product or not because BOSS has always been a budget brand, not a quality brand. Time will tell but I can say it arrived as advertised and so far I'm very impressed. Charged with no problems. He will say that the instructions say to plug in the amp and then charge it. The amp was trying to get power so it shut down both and immediately charged. Once you exceed 10.0 and the alarm sounds, you can connect as usual. The reading is accurate as I used a multimeter to confirm while charging.
