Review on High-Quality HICTOP 295mm Screw Brass Printer: A Reliable Printing Solution by Justin Dorsett

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It cuts badly. One side of the T8 stick is perfect, the other side is broken.

One end of the lead screw is damaged and cannot be used. Looks like they cut the 600mm shaft with a bandsaw or grinder and didn't clean the cut. Small metal ridges protrude to prevent slippage in a standard 8mm x 5mm connector. I may be able to grind the end to fit the 8mm coupler. The filaments on that end are useless and I'm not going to spend an hour cleaning them up with a tiny file. This might work for a cheap printer, but it will make my hardware more difficult to assemble.
