Excellent product. I cook a lot and often make homemade soups and broths. It has a large capacity (about 1 cup) and very small openings. It allows water to pass through the reservoir, but not much flows out. It's great for adding herbs to flavor soups and broths when you don't want herbs in the end product. It reduces the amount of effort I have to do and I never wonder where the mysterious bay leaf will appear. It is very easy to clean as nothing gets stuck in the holes. Also, the lid is very secure (swivel/detachable with notches) but easily detaches for cleaning, not sticky at all. The chain it runs on is long enough that when I hang it over the rim of my large pot, it hangs about halfway into the soup. It's thick enough that the lid doesn't close all the way around the rim, but since I prefer silicone lids to glass, that's not a problem for me.
