I bought this for my elderly mother who needed a very easy to use device. It's harder than your usual full-size Kerig brand maker. Cup buttons and other buttons are used for various purposes. If you click many times, they do one thing. If you press while making coffee, they do something else. You press buttons to start and stop the coffee, which is confusing for the elderly, not user-friendly without reading the manual, and then difficult for the elderly. I ended up going back when it just stopped working and bought a full size Keirig and my mom had no problems. All she has to do with the Keirig is select the size of coffee to brew, place it in the pod, and that's it. She has no problem with that.
