My only difficulty with this product was not that, it was the design of the vent that I fitted it into. Ventilation hole without removing the entire ventilation hole in the upper part of the residential building; it just wasn't an option! I managed the setup with a Phillips Z head up close and worked blindly under me with just a feel. Installation took about 20 minutes, but eventually the waterproofing was a success. I hope I don't have to do this again. The problem was that the Santa Ana wind ripped off the vent cover and left a slotted rod on the vent cover that engages this crank. When I removed the slotted bar I broke the crank assembly and forced me to buy this unit. Painful, but in the end the motorhome is waterproof again!
