I want to love this coffee maker, but there are a few cons that prevent me from recommending it: - I have to descale it every two weeks. Otherwise you risk voiding your warranty. - it doesn't work properly anymore. After about 6 months it only brewed about 2 cups at the "flowering" stage and then stopped. Constantly tried to brew but the same problem persisted. White paint scratches very easily by a factor of six, which shouldn't happen on a $350 coffee maker. To make matters worse, I have contacted Ratio Six customer service multiple times and have never received a response. . I also left a similar review on their website but it was removed.
