My stock motor worked fine though. I bought a heavy duty motor because I figured the extra load capacity wouldn't put as much strain on the motor. The first blew the built in 30 amp fuse as soon as I pressed the extend button (which actually retracts on this motor wired backwards). I switched to a 40 amp fuse which also blew immediately. Send it back for an exchange and it performed less than the original and was only retracted and not raised. At least the fuses aren't blown, but still not good. He also returned it.
