This review is for MAIRDI Gold/Double Ear Switch Headset for Mobile Phone with Noise Canceling Mic. The device looks good enough for normal use and has nice looks. The noise canceling feature is great, way better than I would expect from a device at this price point and way better than some other similar devices I have but way more expensive. The mic seems to work very well and other people I've spoken to say the sound they hear from me is clear and strong. The mic stand easily rotates to almost any position, is flexible and stays in place once adjusted. We often have a lot of background noise (voices, appliances, wind) and my wife and I could easily make phone calls. Speaker sound is about average for a phone headset, which is great for making calls, but certainly not something I would use for serious music listening. The headset fits very well, is very easy to adjust in size and position, and stays in place once adjusted. The mute feature is good, which is one of the reasons I chose this set over similarly rated headsets that didn't have this feature. This allows you to turn off your phone if you need to, without removing your headset (or your hat, helmet, or hood). The connector and disconnect/reconnect plug are very well made and stay connected unless you pull them apart with two hands. Because this connector isn't near the phone or headset, there's no risk of damaging anything when it's unplugged. The headset switch and volume control are also away from the phone or headset, easy to use. The toggle switch is solid, can't be accidentally turned on or off, it's way better than some of the other devices I have. Overall, I would rate this headset as a great purchase and would highly recommend it, especially for the price ($37).
