I gave these 3 stars because while they are comfortable and soft they don't quite fit me. Color: black not quite black. As someone else mentioned, it looks more like a black that's been washed a lot and faded a bit. Fit: I'm somewhere between an apple and a pear, big stomach/back but skinny legs in proportion. I have a heck of a lot of time to find pants that fit me and unfortunately they are no exception. Maybe I just have a big butt, but the seat doesn't seem to go up far enough as if I'm showing my tear when I bend over (thank god I prefer tunic length shirts). lol Also, as someone else mentioned, the legs are a bit too big. They don't stick as I had hoped. They have a lot of baggy in the thighs and calves so they look more like regular capris (no stretch). I would have to downsize for them to fit the way I want, but that would make them uncomfortable for my stomach (I have irritable bowel syndrome. Tight pants can be very painful). But for $8 I can't complain. They're thick so they don't show through (big plus as I've found a lot of these leggings) but not so thick that they get too hot (and I live in Texas), they washed well, didn't fade out. are compressible and comfortable, no bulky waistband to fold or dig into my stomach.
