Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ SnapPower GuideLight 2-Pack: LED Night Light for Standard Dรฉcor Outlets โ€“ Automatic On/Off Sensor โ€“ Electrical Wall Plate with Integrated Night Lights by Raji Bentz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to install as long as it works well

I placed them in the second floor hallway. My little kid thinks they are very cool and thinks they are neat. My wife doesn't like too much light on dark evenings when she has to walk around the area, but she doesn't want the brunt of our bright overhead light. Installation was a 'click', although I have experience with general home repairs, none of my skill was required to simply undo the 2 cover screws, snap the light in place and replace the 2 screws. Anyone can do it. The light turns on when the sensor thinks it's dark and turns off when there's more light. Although one of our outlets is in a dark part of the hallway where little sunlight actually gets in, the light stays on even during the day. It would be nice if the sensor was better matched. So I am tempted to give 4 stars instead of 5 but the positive aspects of the product prevent me from doing so. I would like to give him 4.5 starts though. As far as the light color goes, I would classify it as "cold white" rather than warm. While I usually prefer warm white light at 2700 Kelvin, I'm willing to forego cool white for a little nighttime illumination. Time will tell if the LEDs will last for several years - if they are of high quality they should. If I think of updating this review in a year I will.
