This purchase was made to replace an old tunnel that we had for over a year. Remember that you can only get out of each tunnel for a year or two! It doesn't seem to have any visible areas for the wire to pop out, except maybe for the mesh, but it does appear to have 4 1/2" rubber covers around the ends. I've noticed the stitching has unraveled, but I do I don't worry. Its diameter is 21.5". It looks small and my 20" dog loves it!
