Water boils well and then when you pour water into a cup or whatever, the water spills over the sides and all over the kitchen counter, floor or cupboard. The source of the problem is that little protrusion that is preventing the water from draining properly. When you open the lid it pours without spilling, but that's inconvenient and obviously bad design. I can't understand why any manufacturer would send products like this out the door without testing them to see if they do anything like this. Auto power off doesn't work either.
