This dash kit is far from perfect, very far but in a way close. This is a very reasonable price considering I could pay $200-$400 for a similar product. I have a 2013 Ford Focus SE sedan and according to the factory market the radio failed within a year of ownership. I was struggling to replace and upgrade my $300 budget stereo. Including this dash kit along with other expenses gets me about $350 so overall not too bad. The dashboard fits in my car with no problems. My biggest criticism of this instrument kit is, that it feels very cheap, even at $99. It should be at least $50-70. The material is very cheap plastic, it scratches very easily and very cheap glue was used. For example, some parts fell apart when my car was left in the sun. I first noticed this when I was pulling out a dash kit to try and make a connection for my pigtailed USB port used for Apple CarPlay. Some parts broke off when I took out the dashboard and clear glue covered my hands and the back of the dashboard. Luckily for me, the part that fell off turned out to be the perfect place to route the USB cable. Then I just glued the vents to the parts that should "snap into place", but cheap glue made this process very difficult because tape and plastic didn't hold together. Yes the vents snap into place but they don't stay on, they fall out pretty easily so I taped them in place. After cleaning the dashboard with disinfectant wipes, everything looked normal. The glue also left greasy stains that didn't go away after wiping. To that extent I agree with the way things have developed. The aluminum brackets that come with this dash kit are the silver lining to this experience. This made installing my new secondary stereo much easier. I hope this helps those who are considering purchasing this product. After cleaning the dashboard with disinfectant wipes, everything looked normal.
