Review on Computer chair Metta Samurai S-3.04 for executive, upholstery: textile, color: black by Gabriela Kamiska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The purchase was not entirely successful, there were minor problems in use.

This chair competes with similar products from Metta or with low-priced alternatives in the gaming chair market. I've switched from my old gaming chair to this one, and I'd recommend it (or any other Cougar or DxRacer) to anyone on the fence. The rocking mechanism is awful, the lumbar support is awful, and the headrest isn't adjustable for anyone taller than 180 cm in entry-level gaming seats. I suggest samurai chairs, not gaming chairs, for people who can afford to drop $20,000.

Pros
  • The mesh is durable and comfortable to sit on. The depth of the seat may be adjusted, so even someone who is 5 feet 9 inches tall won't feel too cramped. It has a nice swing mechanism.
Cons
  • The build quality is poor, and it's easy to mess up the construction or the tuning. When first assembled as directed, the seat was not flush with the back, and the headrest was off to one side. Because of the rounded edges, attaching a ruler to it is a cumbersome process. Moving the headrest down the back every time is nerve-wracking because it feels like you're going to shatter it.
