I have been a woodcarver for a long time and I am starting to carve wood. I made some blades and ordered them in this skin to attach slings to. A couple of things: The included adhesive is surprisingly strong and feels very strong so far. One of the leather pieces felt a little more flexible than the other but the thickness and finish was the same and very good, I used a coarse mix on one and a fine mix on the other. It's amazing how quickly I can sharpen the edge of my carving tools to razor sharpness. When working in the office, my chisels are also useful, I can sharpen the edge much faster than with a stone.
