My new powerful computer does not have a DVD/CD player. I have hundreds of DVDs that I still love to watch to enjoy movies. I like this drive for its small size and portability. It's easy to throw in your computer bag and take with you. I have USB and USC-C ports on my computer. I also have a Thunderbolt 3 dock with plenty of ports to use with this drive when I'm at home. This drive allows the use of any type of input port. I liked that the drive doesn't require a power source and gets enough power from your USB or USB-C port to power itself and work well. It makes it much easier to take the drive with you when you don't need a portable power supply. It's a good product and it worked straight away with no issues. I like having a hard drive that I can use with my computer. I gave this product a 5 star rating because it's a solid product and it's sold at a great price.
