I love these strong, versatile supports!

I know, I know. However, I have them on three cameras. These available supports are a standard theme for my team. (Get a better, lighter grip and higher quality rods though.) Why do I love them? First, they are durable and affordable. Second, they have enough mounts to be useful, but not too many. I like the montage in the 45 degree range. It's very handy for external recorders - I used a Tascam and Beachtek camera system for lighter and better Zoom H5 cameras which are great at angles. It's also good if you have separate audio devices. He/she gets one side with external microphones and the other side for the focus puller. There is still room for. Third, I like how the cage is remote from the camera. This gives me more space for the camera without colliding with external recorders, monitors, microphones, etc. and vice versa. Additionally, the versatile design allows me to turn cameras into a rig - or buy/upgrade cameras without having to reinstall everything. Because camera technology changes so quickly, I can buy new cameras and still use the same old comfortable settings and lenses. This has already proven itself over the past year when switching to new 4K cameras. Fourth, I love the top bars. Many small camera-specific setups rely on a cheeseboard grip to attach everything to it. I love cheese grips - first for their lightness and second for the attachment options, but the bars really are where they are. It's a great system. You don't have to circumvent it or reinvent it. Did I mention these guys are tough? I take my entire rig connected to an Ikan video head and tripod so I can move it around without fear. I have been for many years. One of these is pretty sturdy - admittedly I use two mounts as shown in the description on my main camera rig and only one mount for the other two lighter camera mounts. But they are also looped through the set. I'm sure there are better, cooler props out there, but you'll have a hard time convincing me - especially for the money. Nonetheless. Five stars for a lighter, slightly cheesier platter - and a higher quality version. But not on the cheese board. Also, I wish there were holes in the vertical to attach the bars with knuckles - much more useful than a cheese board - but nothing is perfect in the world of photo/videography.
