It worked for us once. When our girl barked for the first time, she looked around, startled - what was that?! Be silent. My husband and I smiled knowingly at each other. It worked! Unfortunately, the audio turned out to be insufficient to silence her. Later, despite the presence of these tiny devices, she barked to her heart's content again. However, returning a product couldn't be easier and we've been really impressed with the devices themselves. They feel well made, it was easy to see if they were working (the red light will flash when they make a sound) and it was very easy to insert and remove these tiny button batteries. If your dog responds to sounds, I have no doubt these devices will last.
