Review on 🔪 CMT 529 254 31: High-Precision 32 Inch Cutter Diameter for Optimal Performance by Timothy Gonzalez

I bought two of these because I had about 4000 end caps to cut. Half the way passed and the first boat didn't slow down. I cut kayu batu (Indonesian hardwood) so I'd say the cutter is pretty durable. Unlike some wire cutters, this one doesn't make a beveled end. But the exchange in my case is successful. I can use one of the plugs I cut out to fill 3 or 4 holes. Also, because I use a small belt sander to make a slight bevel on the piston, the bevel can be kept shallow to maximize piston wall contact with the bore. Doesn't matter if the plugs I just measured (cut a few weeks ago) dry out, so expect 10 thousandths more for sure. They fit snugly in the .375 (3/8 inch) hole.
