Review on 🔌 Amarine Made 12V Scavenge Impellor Gear Pump - Efficient Diesel Fuel & Scavenge Oil Transfer (Black) by Nate Nelson

I used this pump in my boat's oil change system. However this is a great little pump, the oil used on my boat is 40 or more in weight and I have used it on cold oil. The internal thermal device kept shutting down the pump because it was heating up. It was only lukewarm, but still off. I think I should have warmed up the engines before using the pump to remove the oil. It worked better when I poured oil back into the engine, but still failed a few times. I have no way of warming up the new oil before putting it in the engine so I have to live with that. Overall this is a great little pump but my application limits it. It should work fine with thinner oil or liquids.
