I don't usually write reviews but I am so impressed with the quality and ease of installation that I had to pass the comments along to those looking for a pet/kids gate. . It arrived in two days and comes out of the box with all parts carefully packed. They can be used as hold downs or if you want to make them a permanent fixture you can install hold downs in brackets that can be attached to walls. Someone put a lot of thought into building these gates. It comes with user-friendly components designed for your specific application up to 6ft wide. The setup is very intuitive and includes graphics to use according to your needs. Once installed, this gate is a dream. The door itself is the widest I've seen on these products and opens easily. If you open the gate fully in one direction, it will remain open in that position until you close it. On the other hand, if you go straight through the gate, it will automatically close behind you. Sturdy, well designed and worth every dollar. Not inferior to any of the others on the market in my opinion.
