I had a lovely alarm clock/CD player that I bought YEARS ago. Now I'm retired, so I don't need an alarm clock anymore (and the clock itself was so dull green I can't see well), and the CD player started to "skip" CDs. So I just wanted a CD player that was small. I liked the look of this one (it's small) and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it can be wall mounted and doesn't take up space on my bookshelf like the old one. After installing it (I had the mount back to front first) I played with it and it's really nice, especially with the remote control. I'm pretty happy with it, wish it played a little louder so I could hear it around the house (like I could with the old one) but it's ok for my room. I would recommend it to those of us who still love CDs.
