UPDATE: These pans are amazing. I have used them a lot and am very happy with them. Tips: Always heat them on low-medium heat for about a minute, then add the oil. Even for things you think don't need oil, add some oil (I use olive oil). That keeps her free. The cleaning, in my case, is hot water and a scratch-free washcloth. I am 100% happy with them. They're pretty cute and I love them, I really wanted to wait to write a review but I found something the hard way and wanted to pass it on. First, these pans are beautiful pieces of wonderful workmanship. And they're 100% made in the USA, unlike the closest competitor with all the rave reviews that has handles and lids made in China. Made in the USA, or at least not in China, is one of my requirements these days. So I read a lot and watched some videos on how to cook with it and how to season it. There are some opinions and a few videos that say "use linseed oil". DO NOT USE linseed oil. You will have a mess that will take hours to clean up. To be honest I thought my new pots were beyond repair. But boiling water, plastic utensils gently wipe away the remaining flaxseeds, and then the bartender's friend and my pots are like new again (several hours of work and at least one sleepless night). They have all been flavored with coconut oil and work great. Doesn't stick at all, easy to clean. I will update if I use them longer. UPDATED: After weeks/months of use these pans are still the best cookware I have ever used. I've had to change some cooking habits a bit (reheat before putting anything in, use medium heat instead of high, hand wash, etc.) and they're stain free, easy to clean, and just plain cool. It is a pleasure to use such a high quality American product. 100% happy
