These hold up well.
Instead of pushing the dirt into little grooves with a flat mop, the little fingers in the mop pull it out and actually clean the surface much better. The surface is uneven or smooth, but has grooves where dirt can penetrate. I wash them in the washing machine with detergent and some bleach. Don't put them in the dryer as they can shrink a bit and wear out.
