Absolutely normal!
Nice set but the first thing I noticed when it arrived (maybe you can see it here) is that the needles are HUGE! These are yarn needles, not embroidery needles. Even the smallest of them looks like a regular needle with a big eye, and from there they get bigger. However, tires and other accessories are really good. The fabric is very coarsely woven, larger than Aida 14. I can't say anything about the yarn and its quality yet. These are just my first impressions.
