The front optics are flexible, making it difficult to keep both eyes sharp when you hold the binoculars close to your eyes. The rubber caps on the eye rings don't fold, so you'll have to slap them against your eyes to see. The compass ring is not visible unless you point the binoculars up and prevent you from taking the compass reading on anything. All in all, not a very good pair of binoculars. They're also huge and heavy given some features that feel like overkill. I wouldn't buy them again.
