Review on JK MIC J 044 Microphone Recording by Robert Staten

I just got this pup yesterday and I'm thrilled because I've racked my brains to figure out how to record sound at a wedding when it there's no soundboard or when I'm at the back of the room, away from the subject. I did some research and came across the TASCAM DR-05 Recorder TASCAM DR-05 Portable Digital Recorder (Version 2). I checked out YouTube video reviews to hear how the sound sounds and I was blown away. I also liked the price of these things, I couldn't pass by. I got it yesterday, and for those who've never owned a voice recorder or lavalier mic, the controls were pretty intuitive. I did some test recordings and the sound was very crisp and clear. I'm getting married in June and can't wait to use this pup. The construction is light and you hardly notice it's there. There were 2 (two) windshields included which was nice. The only thing I would like would be a carrying case for the microphone. I don't want to damage it by hiding it in my camera bag, maybe I can just put it in the original box. The cord is long enough to carry any item in your back pocket, side pocket or coat pocket. Buy this item today and you won't be disappointed.
