Didn't work even though they were on the list!

I bought these after much research to make sure they would fit my HP 6000 Pro. In any case, they were a perfect match for what I had, just 2GB more per card than currently installed. After two installs they no longer work. They didn't even load. I contacted tech support and went through the troubleshooting process. After I updated my BIOS to the latest version and tried again to no avail, tech support determined they were not compatible with my computer. The Patriot website lists them as coincidences, as does Revane. I guess you can't trust everything you read!
