Easy to replace Best in cartridges
I replace both the mixing valve and this balancing valve at the same time. While this helped, we still don't get as hot water from the Kohler shower valve as from the nearby sink, yes I set the "temperature" limiter on the handle to the maximum but still useless. I think Kohler needs better engineering or an updated maximum temperature policy. Since that's in the wall I have no choice but to reconsider Kohler on any remodel as I'm not impressed.
