My Little Husky tire inflator died while inflating my SUV tires yesterday afternoon. It wasn't the best inflator because it had one of those snap-on fittings that would often release several pounds of air before you properly snapped it into place. It was also missing some key features that I knew I needed in my new tire inflator. Well, JACO came to the rescue today. Here are the JACO features that I now know are very important: 1) Screw rather than snap the connector in place to maintain a good air seal. On my last latch, the latch failed and so much air was bled out of a tire that I didn't want to drive the SUV until the tire was inflated; 2) automatic shut-off, which turns off the device when the desired tire pressure is reached; 3) Digital tire pressure display, so you don't have to constantly disconnect and reconnect the device to check tire pressure; 4) rapid inflation of the tire with air; 5) It is very nice to be able to use the electric current at home or car to inflate tires. All these features make the Jaco device a really good choice if you need a tire inflator to take home. Of course, that's better than airing your tires in the winter at a petrol station in the snow. This jaco device costs more than my last tire inflator, but it's worth it! With this Jaco device it is much easier and faster to deflate the tyres. I used to be afraid to use the last inflator. It's child's play! And because of the automatic shutdown when the right tire pressure was reached, I didn't have to worry about it. It only took about a minute to go from 25 to 35 pounds. Thank you Jaco!
