Failed to load media. They cut amazingly clean holes. The shavings come out like hamster litter that you have to constantly clean by pulling on the drill bit to empty them. Be careful of the needle-sharp ends of the center spurs when using them in a power drill. Do not let them get near metal as they may bend or break. They come in a hot-pressed plastic package that you cannot store once opened. It looks suspiciously like the packaging of a Fisch Fostner 7-bit bit set, also made in Austria but twice as expensive. If you don't have a bit holder with 1/4" and 3/8" holes, you will need a wooden box for storage. 1/4" and 3/8" bits are ideal for drilling holes to hold the shanks of all bits. Here is the box I bought and adapted to mine. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085TG246/ I cut off a piece of the 1x1 stem to fit snugly in the box. I then drilled dowel holes in the center of the 1x1 stem at each end, traced the outlines of the ends on the outside of the box and drilled the centers of the contours to fit the dowel. Finally I pushed the dowel through the sides of the box, glued them 1x1 and cut the dowels with a flush saw. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037MD21W/ Just ordered a second set for my home bench.
