It broke on the fifth use. Not a very thoughtful design. Put two stars. I have used this battery tester many times since it broke the first time I used it. I should clarify my first statement. The tester has a slot of different sizes for each battery. I first tried to test a D size battery and it was a very tight space in the tester. When attempting to insert the battery into the tester, the negative battery terminals detached from the tester and I was unable to test the D cells. In the meantime, however, I have also been able to test all other battery sizes. So four stars. I love the tester, an easy to read tester to rate your battery. Who cares, I'll give five stars if I put the D battery in wrong on the first try. I have to admit human error.
