I bought this for my 2001 Chevy Cavalier 4-Dr LS A/T 2.2L. I have a "Check Engine" light and code P0442 which indicates a "small leak in the EVAP system". I replaced the gas cap first and the problem hasn't gone away. I then replaced the old EVAP bleed solenoid with this one (which is an exact OEM part). Bingo! This solved the problem. The "Check Engine" light hasn't come on for a few weeks. Note that this part is under the car at the back, very close to the carbon filter and fuel tank. Also, don't forget to reset the OBD-II code after replacing a part to make sure you actually replaced the part that was causing the problem. If it doesn't, the "Check Engine" light will likely come back on sooner or later. Much luck.
