I attached pics of what my mat looks like one year after use. It has gotten pretty damaged. I got this to get started in yoga and I still think it was a good purchase for getting started. In the future I will get a thicker, wider mat with clear directions on the best way to disinfect. The cushioning on this is pretty thin. I’m wouldn’t recommend for hard floors, but carpet might be okay. If you can find something thicker around this price range then go for that, but if this is in your budget I still think it’s a good starter mat to get you started and help find out what you want in a mat.
