This is not a rigid body leather holster like Bianchi or DeSantis, it is basically two flaps of leather sewn back-to-back flat and unshaped. That being said, that is also what provides its flexibility. I can carry a knife, a spare mag, multiple pens, flashlight, or what have you in either pocket because it is not a rigid body. Thus you can't complain when the holster bunches up on the inside, its a minor detail. In the end, despite what it is, IT IS COMFORTABLE.I wear this on my hip 90 degrees left, the forward pocket carries my Streamlight ProTac 2L, in fact I'd say it carries it perfectly. Sized for good retention and simple retrieval, I can even retrieve it while sitting down. The rear pocket carries a spare magazine. I've carried 1911 gov't mags, subcompact 9mm single stack mags, .380 subcompact mags. It will also hold double stack Glock 19 mags just fine. I purposely chose this holster for this purpose because the rear pocket has a closed bottom. That way I'm not leaving loaded cartridges behind as breadcrumbs everywhere I go.CRITICISM: My main con with this product is the fact that the leather is stained very nicely, but it was not treated with Resolene. I had a pair of khakis that were lightly stained with leather brown after two days of wear. Lucky for me, I happen to have Resolene; I treated it with two coats and solved the problem myself easily. Marked down one star for durability for this reason. Otherwise the leather is nice and thick and the stitching is single row but looks durable. Also the edges are nice and soft but don't show any signs of finish burnishing.CONCLUSION: I do some hobby leatherwork myself and could probably reproduce this work but not without some effort. The price and convenience of a machine made piece like this is worth it in strokes. The bunching doesn't bother me, the stain bleed issue was easy to solve, and the convenience of EDC on my hip is miles ahead of having stuffed pockets. It balances out my pistol holster well and for that reason its become my #1 choice for EDC carry on the daily. It is also flexible in size and I can use it for a number of difference purposes. For any of the tools I carry on my weakside, this reduces pocket bulk and makes for easier summers. Positioned correctly it fits comfortably while seated in the car. This is a great tool at a great price. I suspect I will eventually need to replace this (after perhaps years of daily use) and I'll be happy to do so when the time comes.
