Prevents chafing

I love these metal thread guides. I uploaded a video. I use the smaller of the two sizes. I have large fingers and wear a size 9 ring so I don't know why other reviews say they are too small. It really reduces friction on my finger. I twisted the bottom ring a bit more because my yarn kept getting caught in the loop. That's why I give 4 stars.
