I should have searched a bit more if they offered a longer one . Anyway, I connected to my router, then tablet and phone, tried both. I couldn't see any difference in the WLAN symbol. I suspect the icon on both doesn't change to indicate a wired connection. I will order a 3.5 or 6 foot adapter so I can relax in my chair and still be connected. I ran a wireless vs wired speed test and the wired speed was faster. I need to stream to see if there is a buffering issue like I have with wireless. I'm also looking for an adapter to split USB C in two so I can connect my tablet and smartphone. Then I do two separate streams to see if that makes a difference. I did it wirelessly and I have some lag. I use a smart home app to tell me what a wifi and wired connection is and noticed a change when I plugged in my tablet and left my camera on wifi, the icons were different. If I find they offer different lengths I will be splitting the lane from the ethernet in the living room so they can connect directly to wifi when visiting family and easily because with 4 grandkids and 2 parents plus I get all working wifi is strong weakened. I hope they offer longer versions because I like this cable so far.
