This is a DIY OBDII combo scan tool with DMM that you must have as you can reproduce MANY tests using much more expensive equipment but at a MUCH lower price. It just needs a good test Leads that allow you to switch end probes to facilitate multiple test methods. The test leads provided with this unit are of good quality, but the ends of the test leads are unconnected and cannot be replaced. The only thing that disappointed me a little but I knew about it before I bought it. . The included battery and alternator test connector is a plus, but these tests can also be performed via the OBDII port. The DMM side can graph voltage and current readings. So if you are familiar with waveform interpretation, you can use this DMM as a low-level oscilloscope! The best ratio of price and quality!
