Small Plug 1/4 " NPT

1/4" NPT male thread seems too small, this fitting screws all the way into a female fitting without a fit. Doesn't seem safe to use a propane line for my application. However, it's not worth the hassle of sending it back. Brass material was very clean and the workmanship looked great.
