Having bought them for two cars that drive daily I am very happy with these cleats. The caps keep colorful and hardly fade or peel like others after about 5 years. After use, chrome eventually begins to flake and rust. But if you change your wheels like me, crank your tires on and off as much as I do, you'll see that you've run the gamut. buy them again because they are durable. For everyday driving they're rough and tough enough to last about 5 years of almost daily use and still look good until you get too close to see the splines peeling and rusting. Despite this, they look good on the car and still do their job. :) BTW, I would have given them 5 stars but got 4 stars for their rust and chrome flaking. Apart from these normal signs of use, I will buy them again. To update. It's 2019 now and I'm still happy with them. So much so that after much research on other brands I'm returning to the red-tipped McGards. again for my new discs which I will be buying soon. Again they are very strong and I had no problem cranking them to 90lbf. I can't tell you how many times I've taken the wheels off and tightened them to size. The best nut I've ever used. Raised this rating to 5 stars because they lasted a total of 10 years on my oldest device I still use. Thank you McGard for a product that lasts and lasts.
