So I tried this Magic Cleaning Eraser Spongel and I have to say I'm very impressed. my square is in an old house that is overdue for painting so I was looking for something similar. I'm a bit suspicious of the environmental impact of cleaning solvents and the possibility of blemished finishes. With this sponge, all you have to do is slightly dampen it, wring it out, and get to work. Some problems I found; You must wring out the sponge well so that dirty water does not run down the wall. Leave enough moisture to activate the sponge. Also, the sponge can tear and break if you rub it too hard. I'm still on my first sponge (just received the package). I don't know how long the sponge will last, but it washes off well. I think I'll find out when it stops working. But so far so good! To update. 17.7.
