The teapot is high quality in many ways. but there is a big problem. No matter how carefully you pour water from it, there will be a big puddle of boiling water on the table! The water runs down the spout and due to the shape of the rim some of the water runs down the spout and not into the cup. It seems insane that a quality company like Le Creuset would launch such an obviously flawed product. We have a lot of enamel goods and think about these articles with ease. They clearly make the finest cast iron enamelware in the world. The comparison between this cookware and this teapot is so striking.
