For what this little "hook" does. It is too expensive. But it's better than a piece of tape covering the RV's electrical fuse and circuit breaker door to keep them closed. For those who can't figure out how to remove the factory latch to install a new latch. Just take a pair of pliers, grasp the latch itself and quickly pull it towards you. Sometimes the whole congregation comes out and sometimes not. If it doesn't, simply remove the "casing" with the same pair of pliers, or use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off. It will come out. Then simply gently insert the new latch into the square hole until it is fully engaged. Easy Pisi!
