DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! The reviews for this product here are most likely fake. I bought it for my '98 Mustang. It hardly ever worked, and I mean hardly ever. It's very quiet, has inconsistent sound quality, and doesn't play audio through all speakers. However, I found out why, and that's because the magnetic head that sends the signal to the player doesn't hold in place well, as there are 1mm gaps between the plastic and metal heads, and in the case of the product that I received, the magnet head mounted askew on the board! I couldn't believe it! No wonder it doesn't sound good, it doesn't even fit right! Every time I took out the cassette adapter and put it back in, the sound was different. The magnetic head moves so much that it never sits in the same place twice. I could even push the cassette into the deck and it would get louder until I let go of the pressure and it would get quiet again because it lines up better when I push it, but I could never get it to line up. alone, let alone sequentially. This isn't a very good adapter if it can't transfer the signal from the device to the tape deck. Save your money, it's low-quality junk!
