Review on Copper and Brass Old Dutch Teakettle, 2.5 Quart by Donald Gore

We've been looking for a kettle for a long time and are in no hurry to buy this type. We wanted something that would last, be functional, look good and be reasonably priced. We thought it would work. The wife was unhappy and we missed the return deadline. The handle is not symmetrical. You can see that if you look closely. Not the seller's fault. The handle is a little deeper on the side of the spout which is just enough to drive my wife insane and you know the saying, happy wife happy life. HOLY WATER POINTS! I used it once and it's terribly stained. I have an order for copper polish as we're getting stuck with that, so we'll see what it does. I believe the copper literally needs to be polished before the company arrives. The rest is fully functional. I want it to whistle.
