Copper and Brass Old Dutch Teakettle, 2.5 Quart Review

Looked good when it arrived but it turned pink on top and the rim turned colorful. Didn't hold up well and I only had it for about a week.

Bought as a gift, visited my parents and saw how ugly it looked after a month of use. Even the teapot doesn't look the same. Waste of money, don't buy.

I love this teapot but it has replaced one I bought from the same manufacturer last year. I wrote to the company about problems with the previous kettle and all I heard was crickets. This time the kettle was bought without firewood to solve the problem of firewood breakage.

Amazing little copper teapot. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition (exactly as pictured). Well assembled and polished to a high gloss! BUT make no mistake - this really isn't the best teapot! This is a beautiful decorative piece perfect for accenting a hob, countertop or kitchen shelf. If you try to use it, it WILL tarnish a lot, water stain, HEAT (because it's all metal) and possibly spit boiling water out the spout when full, so proceed at your own discretion. can you use it Yes.

I was very excited about this product but was very disappointed when I received the kettle. Poor craftsmanship and assembly resulted in a very crooked and misaligned handle. In addition, the spout had been roughly cut off and black residue of polish remained inside and outside the jug. I wanted to love it but I will quickly return this product for a refund.

We've been looking for a kettle for a long time and are in no hurry to buy this type. We wanted something that would last, be functional, look good and be reasonably priced. We thought it would work. The wife was unhappy and we missed the return deadline. The handle is not symmetrical. You can see that if you look closely. Not the seller's fault. The handle is a little deeper on the side of the spout which is just enough to drive my wife insane and you know the saying, happy wife happy life…

I LOVE this little kettle! This is perfect for my needs. It holds quite a bit of water, which is important to me as I use it every morning to brew a full carafe of coffee and make an all-day iced tea. I fill it as high as I can and it pours out of the spout while boiling when filled to the top, but it pours very cleanly and I reserve for ice tea.
