I installed this on the back of my wife's van and it is exactly what I was hoping for. Installing the system is very easy, but can take a long time depending on the vehicle and the type of installation. I wanted all the wires to be hidden so I removed all the panels. It took a while. You have to keep in mind that I installed this on my wife's van, so there's a lot of trim. I ended up drilling a very small hole above the license plate. After running through the wires I used some silicone to caulk everything and make it waterproof. I connected the red wire to the reverse lights so the screen lights up when she puts it in reverse. This gives the system the necessary power. I installed an LCD screen just above their radio which worked great on this car model. Others may need to install a screen on the dashboard. The screen is clear and easy to see. You have the option to use the lines to help you park or whatever. I mean for the price this is an amazing setup. It's not a cheap system at all. If you need a backup camera or are thinking about getting one, I definitely recommend this one. Especially for the price.
