I bought these rotors for my 2004 Acura (Honda) TL 6-SPD. They're a bit noisy at low speeds, but I usually listen to music, so the noise doesn't bother me. The product itself and the packaging are of the highest quality, but the country of origin is not indicated anywhere. I hope they are made in the UK. There are detailed instructions on the packaging to ensure the rotor works as intended; He even advises you to check the concentricity with a dial gauge before installation. These rotors are better than OEM. The black exterior (zinc coating?) goes away when the pads are cleaned, but they still look crisp on my TL. I use OEM Brembo pads (a whopping $150) for the front and Akebono Ceramic for the rear (7199 for the rear). Lasting impression: My right rear was overheated several times by a stuck piston. The water (I know it causes heat stroke) evaporated immediately. To my surprise, the rotor has not deformed and still works as it should. I bought another pair of 7199s just in case, but they will sit until the original ones hit the limit. The best and most durable rotor I have ever seen!
