Is it worth buying?

I think so, if only for the cute costume jewelry they can become. The golden peacock is by far my favorite design. Its large size is ideal for larger yarn counts, but it's too big for my finger and NOT adjustable. It even hangs on my thumb. I have long thin fingers. Fish, snakes, and plain silver chickens are the only ones that actually adjust by pushing the "tail" inward, which also allows the yarn to slide inward and increase yarn tension. A simple silver bird without gems has a prong protruding from its head. These are probably remnants of the mold they are made of and are fairly easy to file down. The silver peacock with pink eye is adjustable but the gap doesn't allow to hold the yarn. Pisces, Although not a U-shape like a bird's neck or a snake's tail, it can be useful for left-handers. The snake is my favorite of all, although I don't have any pictures. The hooks are plain metal and I ordered the set for another reason and while they seem decent enough I won't be using them due to arthritis.
