Review on Curt Manufacturing 56201 CURT T Connector by Sean Maile

I do not recommend Curt 52601. I have installed over ten hitches and harnesses in the last 6-7 years. I've had these straps fail twice. When replacing failed third-party wiring harnesses, both the trailer I pulled and the car were checked for short circuits and none were found. The replacement straps had no issues so I have to assume it was a faulty Curt strap. The short was in Kurt's wiring harness, and since there was no internal reset, the wiring harness was destroyed. The wiring harnesses actually started to melt, causing temporary electric gremlins to appear on my Volkswagen. I recommend buying another brand with short circuit protection that will automatically reset. I haven't had any problems with the ModuLite HD wiring harness since installing it.
